Low & slow since 2016
Smoke & Strings started as a smoker welded from an old boiler tank and a borrowed PA in the corner of a mill-district warehouse.
Ten years on, the smoker's bigger and the PA is ours, but the deal is the same: post oak and hickory burning from 4 a.m., meat pulled when it's ready and sold till it's gone, and a band on stage every single night. No frozen anything, no backing tracks.
Pitmaster June Calloway runs the fire. Booking is handled by whoever loses the coin toss. Come hungry, stay late.
